MAP matters for Illinois students and families

Illinois Monetary Award Program provides 125,000 students with the opportunity to go to college. Without this funding many students and families are being forced to pay thousands of dollars in additional tuition—causing many students to drop out of college.

Legislators passed SB 2043 to provide students with opportunities.  Governor Rauner vetoed the bill, once again jeopardizing many students’ college careers.

The legislature will vote soon to override Gov. Rauner’s veto.

Stand up for student assistance!  Call your legislator today. Urge them to Vote YES to override Gov. Rauner’s veto of SB 2043.
