OSHA provides workplace H1N1 influenza information on new Web site

The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched a new website to promote safety during the current H1N1 influenza outbreak. The website contains informative fact sheets about ways to reduce the risk of exposure to the 2009 H1N1 virus at work.

Click here to access OSHA's "Workplace Safety and H1N1" web site that provides easy to understand information appropriate for all workplaces and more extensive guidance for those involved in higher risk health care activities.

The website will be updated as new information about the 2009 H1N1 virus becomes available. Visit the site often to ensure you have the most up-to-date information for precaution and protection.

Under Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, OSHA is now being much more aggressive in promoting safe and healthful working conditions for America's working men and women.
