Join Cook County employee picket for a fair contract
Join an Informational Picket with AFSCME members in Cook County government on Thursday, June 10 from 11:30am-1:30pm. Pickets will be held at three locations:
- Stroger Hospital – Corner of W. Ogden Ave & S. Damen Ave
- Criminal Courts Building – 2600 S. California Ave
- Juvenile Court Building – 1100 S. Hamilton Ave
Cook County management is demanding employee givebacks at the bargaining table, including unacceptably small raises that would be almost wiped out by almost doubled health insurance contributions and doubling maximum out-of-pocket health care costs.
AFSCME members are ready to show the County that they’re ready to fight against takeaways, and will do what it takes to win a fair contract. Join us!
